Over the last several weeks I have enjoyed watching the trees and the forest floors sprout new life. Buds turning into new leaves are popping up all over Nova Scotia. And tiny white blooms that will soon be fresh wild strawberries are in abundance on some of my favorite trails.

I bought a new teacup for my small collection when I last visited the Earltown General Store.
