I grew up in the tiny rural community of Charlos Cove on Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore. I spent several years living in the Province's beautiful capital city before returning to a more rural lifestyle in East Lawrencetown. I did so with complete enthusiasm and am thrilled to have returned to a rural lifestyle, closer to the sea. My neighborhood  provides a wealth of photographic inspiration but I also love to tour the entire province as often as I can and photograph the beauty that exists in Nova Scotia, particularly its rural nooks and crannies. :). I am inspired by the ocean and everything it encompasses, but also by textures and patterns. I share my photos to encourage people to slow down and mindfully enjoy the beauty that exists everywhere around us.

I also write a blog titled Lifting Anchor which you can view HERE, as well as work with a great team in my community to coordinate an annual studio art tour called Surfside Studio Tour, which you can learn about HERE.
